STUPA PROJECT

Shortly before his passing in 2023, Lama Zopa Rinpoche the Spiritual Director of FPMT, advised Tara Meditation Centre’s next holy object project would be building a Kalachakra stupa.
It is a wonderful blessing for all involved to be able to fulfil his wishes, and this project has potential for enormous benefit, not only for the Centre, but for everyone in Bunbury and way beyond.
A stupa is a holy monument which represents the Buddha’s enlightened mind, and the steps necessary to realise the potential within all of us to develop similarly.
There are a number of different types of stupas, all built to the highest degree of accuracy and precision. The purpose of a Kalachakra stupa is to bring about WORLD PEACE…so needed in these times.
We are relishing this precious opportunity, and extend a warm invitation to all of you who would like to participate or contribute in any way.
