Losar & Lama Yeshe Day
Friday 28th February
Marking the start of the holy period called ‘The 15 days of Miracles’, this celebrates a time when the Buddha demonstrated miraculous powers that inspired non Buddhists to have faith, & increased the faith of his followers.
The merits of virtuous actions in this 2 week period are multiplied many million times over.
9.30 a.m. – sutra readings
1 p.m. – shared lunch & 2 short videos of Lama Yeshe
Wednesday meditation sessions are not held during the school holidays.
Mondays 17th & 24th February 7-8.30 p.m.
‘Lam Rim’ is the body of teachings designed to progress us step by step to enlightenment, as many Buddhist practitioners have done previously. Emphasis will be on meditational rather than intellectual components of the process, with time to share/discuss any experiences & insights gained.

These guided meditations introduce ancient and simple techniques to calm the mind and help with stress and emotional difficulties for the purpose of developing increased awareness, balance, vitality and meaning in everyday life.
Sunday meditation sessions run throughout the whole year, except for the summer school holidays.
10 am Healthy Body Healthy Mind~ Sessions combine gentle stretching exercises with simple meditation techniques to calm the mind and help with stress……..
Wednesday meditation sessions are not held during the school holidays.
Evenings will recommence on 12th February.
